The simple swipe card is the key to any system as this can be used in a multitude of ways:

Door Entry

One card can operate any number of selected doors, giving the systems manager options to include and exclude certain sensitive doors, e.g. Computer Rooms. Timed entry can also be effected, maybe the cleaner only need access on a Friday between 4pm-8pm, whilst regular employees would be excluded after 6pm and on Sundays.

The next stage in this secure system is a swipe and PIN unit, which can then take either the PIN number, swipe card, or both, depending on the level of security required. If a card is lost then it can be simply taken out of the system and a replacement issued.

"ENTRO" is the entry level PC based software package that allows grouping of employees and this will control up to 256 doors and separate sites connected by modem. Easily added to, each segment has its own controller and back up batteries so if your office power is cut, you can still get in!. This is the system we in our offices. It logs the entry of any card, time and date stamped.

"Bewapass PC" is the top flight PC based system and can handle over 2,000 doors and 18,000 personnel, has a roll call facility and can trace the movement of personnel.

Proximity readers can take the place of most card readers and are effective up to 50cm from the read head. Your car park can have vehicle activation tags to operate the barriers.
